Which Window Style?

Our goal is to create a timeless property in the area, which makes you feel that the property is always there. We've come across a lot of new builds that just feel like they might fall down. Whereas older houses, since they were build with more sturdy material, have that strong feeling to them.

So one of the ways we can convey that feeling is through windows. In Bedford, shutters are a very common option on a classic Colonial style.

We even created a board to help with the brainstorm!

However, our real estate broker strongly suggested no shutters and asked to combine with shingles roof, which will add a bit of softness and warmth to the exterior that makes it more inviting rather than feeling like brand new construction, which uses hardy plank or clap board.
